The Vice President works in partnership with the President and Executive Committee to support: - Strategic leadership and organisational direction - Engagement with member associations and key stakeholders - Acting in the President’s role when required

TREASURER
The Treasurer is a key member of the Executive Committee and plays a central role in ensuring the organisation’s financial health and accountability. Key responsibilities include: - Oversight of financial management and reporting - Supporting sound governance, compliance, and transparency - Working closely with the Executive Officer and Executive Committee to support informed decision-making. - Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
This role would suit someone with experience or interest in finance, accounting, governance, or business operations. Support and handover will be provided to ensure a smooth transition.

Positions Descriptions
President
The President is responsible for the leadership of the Council Executive, for efficient organisation and conduct of the Council Executive’s function and the briefing of all Council Executive members in relation to matters arising from the Council Executive meetings.
Vice Presidents
The role of the Vice President (s) is to assist the chair in performing their role, particularly with regard to governance matters. In addition, the Vice President fulfils the responsibilities in the event the President is temporarily vacated their position or is not present at a meeting of the Council Executive.
Regional Supervisors
The primary roles of a Regional Supervisor are: to take part in the decision making process of the South Australian Country Basketball Council on a basis of what is the best for the sport as a whole, and to provide a means of communication between the Associations in the Region and the SA Country Basketball Council.
